So spring is here and we’re taking off a layer or two (or one if you’re in France right now – the weather hasn’t quite caught on that IT’S SPRING). The most exciting part of Spring for coffee lovers all over the world is the official opening of iced coffee season. Here at Cupalors we are particularly excited to be going to the London coffee festival next week where we expect to be drinking lots of this seasonal beverage! In the meantime we’re home brewing our iced coffee and loving it, this is our favourite recipe (enjoy!) :
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 doubble expresso ‘allongé’ or ‘lungo’ – chilled
- Half a cup of milk (or cream if you like your iced coffee rich)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons of maple syrup
- Quarter to half the inside of a fresh vanilla pod
Simply combine and stir the ingredients! This is the perfect pick me up on a hot commute to work.
